The Woll Iron square cast iron casserole in chilli red is a versatile piece that goes from hob to oven and from oven to table: perfect for roast meat, chicken with potatoes, oven-baked vegetables or a homemade lasagne.
With a capacity of 4 litres and a wide surface, it lets you brown several pieces at once and finish cooking slowly with the lid on. The lid has a drop relief on the inside that collects the steam and returns it to the food, which stays juicy without needing to be basted.
The body is cast iron with an extra-rough matte black enamel, scratch resistant and with a slight non-stick effect. It includes silicone handle protectors. It works on all types of hob, including induction, and in the oven up to 300 °C without the protectors. Woll offers a 25 year guarantee on the body.

Care: Although it is dishwasher safe, the manufacturer recommends washing by hand to protect the enamel. Let it cool before washing to avoid thermal shock, use lukewarm water, mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, and dry well. A thin coat of oil from time to time keeps the enamel in good condition.
