Kai Seki Magoroku Kaname Kiritsuke 15 cm
The Kai Seki Magoroku Kaname kiritsuke , 15 cm, is an all-purpose Japanese knife with the recognisable angled tip of the kiritsuke.
Its medium size makes it very versatile: it slices vegetables, cuts meat into thin strips, fillets fish for sashimi and, thanks to the tip, allows detailed work without changing knife. It is a good alternative to the utility knife for anyone looking for something with more personality.
It is handmade, sharpened on both sides and its blade offers a hardness of 60-62 (±1) HRC for a fine, long-lasting edge. The 13 cm Pakkawood handle balances a weight of 134 g. It belongs to Seki Magoroku, the Kai family that honours the knife-making tradition of Seki (Japan).
