Kyocera CME-50 electric salt and pepper mill
The Kyocera CME-50 electric mill grinds salt, pepper and dry spices at the push of a button, without turning your wrist. It is operated with one hand, very convenient when the other is busy stirring a pan or holding a plate.
A wheel on the base adjusts the texture: turning it one way gives a coarser grind and the other way a finer one. It works with dry crystallised salt of 2 to 4 mm and with spices under 5,5 mm; the manufacturer advises against almonds, peanuts or sesame, which can jam it. It comes in white and black, with a simple line that looks good on any worktop.
The grinding mortar is ceramic, corrosion resistant and with no residual tastes; the body is ABS resin (heat resistant up to 70 °C) and the rotating shaft is polyamide 66. Made in Japan.
